Hello everyone! Today, I thought that I would be sharing quick and easy heart patterns to make in this jolly Valentine's week! From 2 minutes to 2 hours, there are 10s of dozens of patterns and today I will be sharing 20. First, all you will need is a hook (https://amzn.to/3EsQ5zQ), yarn (acrylic: https://amzn.to/4aRRGvo thin chenille: https://amzn.to/4hT59FE), scissors (MY FAVORITE SCISSORS: https://amzn.to/3CIMkWB), and optional for some—needles (https://amzn.to/4hHII6g).

I am going to divide this article into two sections: Quick and Easy and Long and Cute.

So, let's get started:

Quick and Easy:

1. To start off this list, I am going to begin with my very own 2-5 minute (depending on your speed) heart. I love this pattern and decided to make it because why not? I knew it was not that hard, so I gave it a go. Here’s the URL: https://kaylascrochetcorner.com/valentines-day-free-pattern-2-5-minute-heart

2. Next is by Hooked by Robin—I really like her videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9CXXsu6YSA

3. This is by Sarah Maker, I like her posts: https://sarahmaker.com/crochet-heart-pattern/

4. Another trusted crocheter is Bella Coco: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqeITgApnbw

5. Simple tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14oULC3zb9g

6. This one needs no magic ring: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBFgscqe4k4

7. I like how the Secret Yarnery (the source) explains the magic ring and has a written pattern and two tutorials (right-handed and left-handed): Written Pattern: https://bit.ly/4hAzqJ0 Tutorial (right-handed): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbPXeT0KEAQ

8. This channel (lilthings) is really cute, and she just recently made a Valentines Day video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE793um_dJ8

9. This one may be longer since it is two rounds instead of one, and she also has a garland pattern in another post on her blog: https://anitalouisecrochet.com/2025/02/05/simple-crochet-hearts-perfect-for-gifts-and-decor/

10. This one has three sizes (small, medium, large) so it can be 5 minutes plus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-61Bwv66Qw

Okay, so now we are going to do the Long and Cute:

Long and Cute:

1. The Secret Yarnery also has a heart coaster which is so cute—there is a written pattern also, and tutorials for both right and left-handed crocheters (they got you covered😊): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59cNVJeN4_I

2. Stitch By Fay has good patterns, and this is her simple heart that uses a chain and not a magic ring: https://www.stitchbyfay.com/easy-crochet-heart-pattern/

3. This is a cute (NO-SEW) padded heart by Hooked By Robin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iA2V3vxRPeE

4. Now, this is a heart granny square by Creggy’s Crochet, and fun fact: I just did her sun granny square yesterday for my sister and it turned out great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGQjHi6VVqM

5. This is by Wonder Crochet, who has a wide range of tutorials on her YouTube and fun vlogs—this is a heart (these are thicker with two bumps crocheted together): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cP6EtxSnrI

6. All from Jade is a trusted crocheter and actually my first plushie was from one of her tutorials, and this is a heart: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxn93raVYxg

7. One Cent Crochet is also another good crochet company with a range of free patterns from the outback (Australia), and this is her heart pattern: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aBHK9Q-HUY

8. This is a heart pouch made with two granny squares, so it is a little longer with the granny squares, and crocheting them together, and the border, but it is cute, and VivCrochets has amazing patterns: https://vivcrochets.com/crochet-heart-granny-square-drawstring-pouch/

9. Now this will take up more time because of all the hearts to make, but this continuous heart garland in which you crochet a chain and make the hearts on the chain is genius, and it looks lovely: https://www.deliacreates.com/string-of-hearts-crochet-garland-free-pattern/

10. Ending this amazing pattern round-up, here is an adorable heart jelly-cat and the creator has other amazing patterns like a coffee one that is so cute (and I need to try*gathering yarn*): https://www.instagram.com/purfect.crochet/p/C20CKeqtFTn/

Well, that concludes today's article, in which I shared 20 heart patterns. I hope you decide to make one of them, and if you do, tell me! Have a good day and happy crocheting!
