My crochet journey started three years ago, around my birthday. And for that birthday, I decided to invest into a craft....
....Crochet. I was ready to learn a new craft. So, days after my birthday, with my yarn and hook, I looked on youtube for tutorials. I find it funny when I tell someone I learned from youtube, but it's the truth. After watching tons of tutorials, I finally clicked on another.
I was determined to learn the hard slip knot. As my eyes observed the tutorial, I made a slip knot--then slowly, yarned over, and pulled through! I had just made a stitch. As I copied the step, I had a beautiful chain. I held it up like I was holding the Nobel prize. But that was just a small chain, which turned into a big future-an etsy, a website, and a 24/7 hobby!
Giving up on the slip knot three years ago would have never took me to where I am today. So, I am definitely glad I didn't give up.
