Hey everyone! For this week, I am going to be sharing a free pattern! And I know this is not like totally amazing since it is just a simple ball, but.......who knows, you might have just wanted a simple ball pattern!

This all came to be when I created a little turtle, and the head was a perfect circle! I was amazed at how it looked like a stress ball. One thing turned to the other, and thus was born a new pattern. Now I, crazy as I am, challenged myself to crochet 50 of these balls in a week, and I did! So, I created 50 in 5 days, and I made so many colors (mods). I will have to release these mods on my Instagram (@kaylascrochetcorner33), here, or both!

Materials

#6 Parfait Chunky…initially this can be made with other yarns, however depending on the size of it, the ball will be different in size.

5.00 mm hook for the Parfait Chunky. But of course, if you use a different yarn, then it might require a different hook size.

Scissors

Stuffing

Darning Needle

Abbreviations and Special Stitches

Mc: Magic Circle

Rnd: Round

Sc: Single Crochet

Inc: Increase

Dec: Decrease

FO: Fasten Off–That just means to cut your yarn and secure it. ;)

Before we get into the pattern, there needs to be a disclaimer. You are not permitted to sell, modify, or name this pattern as your own. If you sell the finished product, or share it on social media, please do credit me, the author (KaylasCrochetCorner/on instagram: KaylasCrochetCorner33).

Instructions:

Rnd 1: 6 sc in mc

RND 2: INC * 6 (12)

RND 3: 1 SC, 1 INC * 6 (18)

RND 4: 2 SC, 1 INC*6 (24)

RND 5-7: sc all around (24)

Rnd 8: 2 sc, dec*6 (18)

Rnd 9: 1 sc, dec*6 (12)

Stuff your ball.

Rnd 10: dec*6 (6)

If you need to, finish stuffing. FO, and sew closed in a cinched closure, meaning weave your tail, in the front loops of your last rnd, and pull closed…Hide your tail.

Well, now you are done!!! Good job for completing this stress ball! Next time you feel stressed, just squeeze this! Also, when stuffing, a tip would be not to over stuff, so that it is so squeezable, and not firm.
