Now, here is my review of this book. I pre-ordered it a while ago, and just received last night, the day after it released on Amazon.

Many reading this probably may know about CrochetByGenna’s new and AMAZING book! So, in it, there are 40 adorable patterns ranging from her famous turtle to opossum. Yet, that is not the best part. Everything is 100% no-sew! And I do not know about you, but I dislike sewing very much. And so actually having the ability to have 40 different patterns with no sewing required is just an incredible blessing!

Now, here is my review of this book. I pre-ordered it a while ago and just received it last night, the day after it was released on Amazon. And, to be honest, I was so excited! I had been waiting and waiting for that day to come for so long. I was an avid watcher of Genna’s vlogs and loved her patterns, so finally actually getting 40 of them, with no sewing, was a complete dream.

My opinion of the book is excellent. Firstly, Genna explains techniques like bobbles, double crochets, and sewing noses, mouths, etc. After that, the book is divided into sections like land, sea, and farm animals…then there is the food section filled with a mushroom, gummy bear, and more.

The limbs of some animals, like a giraffe or pug, are crocheted directly in, which really revolutionizes crochet. Having the ability to still have wings, legs, and arms which are movable without the pain of sewing them in and making them crooked is just so amazing! Personally, one of the reasons I dislike sewing is because of the fear of flaws. I do not want to sew something on and have it crooked. I imagine giving it to someone or selling it to someone, and they are dissatisfied because of the crookedness! So, yeah, that is just me.

And that is also why everything on my Etsy is no-sew—meaning I did not have to sew one thing in any of those items, which makes me content knowing I could have messed up the placement of limbs or something else similar.

Now you know kind of why I like, oh I mean, LOVE this book! And you can get this book on many platforms, in store and online. I personally got it on Amazon: https://amzn.to/4gM7WiQ.

So, in conclusion, love the book! Love the patterns from 1 to 40. And a little—oh who am I kidding—huge announcement: I will be doing an ongoing series of posts where I will be reviewing each and every one of Genna’s patterns. So, be on the lookout for that!

Meanwhile, happy crocheting!
