Clover Granny Square
But today, we are going to talk about the image of this post. As you can see, it’s a granny square. But not just any; I call it the “Clover Granny Square” because of the three clusters that are velvet in the center.

Granny squares, oh granny squares! How I used to dread you! Yes, believe it or not, I used to look at granny squares and say, “No.” But now, well, I kind of love granny squares. February is the month of, “Granny Squares” for me. And you will soon find out why, because I have a blog post planned for what I have been crocheting lately.
But today, we are going to talk about the image of this post. As you can see, it’s a granny square. But not just any; I call it the “Clover Granny Square” because of the three clusters that are velvet in the center.
The granny square is not my pattern, but I learned it from an infinity square tutorial on YouTube(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwASEw8P6h0&t=787s&pp=ygUXaW5maW5pdHkgZ3Jhbm55IHNxdWFyZSA%3D).
The style is mine. So, what I did is—I had a sample of green velvet yarn from Guchet because I had bought from them. And I wanted to use it as the center of the granny square, but I did not have enough, so for the last corner of my granny square, I used the main acrylic yarn (some acrylic yarn: https://amzn.to/4hB5NHW, https://amzn.to/4hUyvDh, and the yarn I used: velvet: https://www.guchet.com/velvet/velvetyarnnooky-f42kt, acrylic: https://www.guchet.com/store/thisyarnisit-92hp2) and as I went on with the granny square, I realized it looked like a clover. So, the “Clover Granny Square” was born!
I like it, not because of “St. Patrick's Day,” but because it reminds me of the Trinity of God, so I find it as a Christian symbol because actually that is what St. Patrick did. He used the clover as an evangelism tool to teach about the Trinity. I love the style, and hopefully, you try it!
Happy crocheting!
